A Training School
Teaching Toward Liberation is a training school and program designed for educators who are ready to lead and teach toward liberation!
This is a program model designed for educator trained based on the framework outlined in Toward Liberation: Educational Practices Rooted in Activism, Healing and Love.

LEAD Based on the Toward Liberation Educational Framewok
This liberation - centered framework will equip educators with the tools needed to implement the pillars of liberatory education outlined in Toward Liberation: Educational Practices Rooted in Activism, Healing and Love. Educators will learn how to lead in ways that centers antiracism, healing, joy, culturally responsive practices, truthtelling, intersectional justice, activism, social justice and love!
TEACH Based on Toward Liberation Educational Framework
This arc of the instructional training sessions are designed with teachers and students in mind! This series is designed to provide teachers with resources, tools, and frameworks for creating culturally responsive, anti - racist, anti - oppressive (liberatory) educational spaces where students can thrive. Teachers will gain tools to support in transforming their teaching practices.

The Toward Liberation Training School offers an inspired cohort based model where educators will be supported as humans and equipped with tools and knowledge that will transform the educational experiences for the young people educators serve.

As healing and wellness are tenets of the Toward Liberation framework, educators will be able to experience yoga, meditation and other wellness practices as a part of this training program.

This is a training school led by educators for educators. This training will deepen educators' ability to center liberation, including how to center antiracism, joy, healing - centered practices, truthtelling, activism, social justice and other tenets of liberatory educational practices. Educators will then be able to lead this work in their respective schools.
Educators will be trained to lead
Sustainability is integral to liberation. Educators will learn tools, practices and skills that can be shared with their school communities at large. An investment into this program is an investment into your school community for years to come.
